Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching is a self-development and growth tool where an experienced person, or coach, helps a client or group of people achieve their personal or professional goals. Coaches help their clients with identifying personal challenges and increasing awareness of their surroundings and context so that they can make the changes that they seek to achieve the goals they want. Coaching aims to provide direction and help so that you can become better at a particular activity. Coaches help clients achieve objectives and goals by making them accountable for their actions, improving objectives and goal setting and providing encouragement.

Anyone who is in need of support to achieve something. Anyone who want to be held accountable and wants to work on him/herself. People who want to have someone to reflect on their actions and motivations. Basically anyone who wants to grow and become better.

No, coaching is not therapy. But because of the work we are doing it often happens that we will talk about trauma and core beliefs in such a way that it may feel like it. But coaching should never be a replacement for therapy and if you are in need of therapy you should be doing that, therapy.

Coaching is future or goal oriented. Therapy is more past and healing oriented.

A coach is here to support you on your journey, to help you along the way. A coach doesn’t have to be an expert in your field of work. A coach is here to keep you accountable and motivated, to help you with setting goals, identifying obstacles and direction. The best coaching is the one where the client comes up with the solutions, not the coach.

A consultant would come as an expert in the field you need help with, to give you advice and provide solutions to your problems. He provides the expertise, advice and/or training.

I work with both men and women. Usually in an individual basis to really focus on one person but I also do couples some times.
